Navigating your eyebrows can be a bit overwhelming. There are a magnitude of products on the market. When you go in-store you are usually given multiple products just for this one area of your face! We like to keep things simple (but effective) with just one product, our Vegan Eyebrow Pencil. Add definition, density, and fullness with this magic little pencil. Why do your eyebrows? This helps to accentuate the eyes and shape the face.
Our pencils have a soft texture that is effortless to apply and enriched with micas for a soft tint to match almost all brow colors. All vegan, free from nasties, and suitable for sensitive skin types of course.
So, how do we recommend applying it? We feel it really depends on the style of brow you desire. Lucky for you, we've put together a guide for the top 4 different styles of brows. Go ahead, find your favourite and face the world with fresh and beautiful brows.
The Natural Brow
The Natural Brow is our go-to! This style is the perfect addition to your daily make-up regime. Quick, easy, and almost effortless.
Step 1 - Identify your starting point. This should be the inner corner of the brow, close to the bridge of your nose.
Step 2 - Use short, feathery strokes to fill in any gaps and sparse areas.
Step 3 - Finish by using the brush tip (attached to the cap of your pencil) to blend out any harsh lines. This will create a soft natural finish.
The Ombre Brow
The ombre brow is lighter and sparser on the inner corner and then tapers off into a bold, defined tail. These are the eyebrows that you'll often see for more glamorous makeup looks (did someone says Girls Night?). This style is a little more complicated to create but, the results speak for themselves.
Step 1 - Start by using your pencil to create one fluid line on the underside of your brow. This line should start about ¼ of the way from the beginning of the brow, and reach the tail.
Step 2 - Continue by following the same pattern on the higher portion of the brow.
Step 3- Use full, outward strokes to fill in between the lines. Then begin creating hair-like strokes with the pencil that start at the inner corner of the brow and blend with the existing lines.
Step 4 - Brush out any harsh-looking lines that remain. This should leave you with perfect, Instagram-ready Ombre Brows.
The Fluffy Brow
Fluffy Brows are the biggest vibe right now. They began on the faces of runway models and celebrities and now you'll see them almost everywhere. This style is wild and bushy – the ultimate statement brow.
Step 1 - Roughly brush your eyebrows with the tool on the cap of your pencil.
Step 2 - Use feathery strokes to fill in any gaps and sparse areas.
Step 3 - Brush & repeat until you achieve your desired look.
The Bold Brow
Bold Eyebrows are identified by their thick and full appearance. Unlike the Fluffy brow, these are well-groomed and manicured. These are more daring and work perfectly to frame the face.
Step 1 - Start by using your pencil to create one fluid line on the underside of your brow. This line should start on the inner corner and reach the tail.
Step 2 - Draw another line on the top of the brow. This line should start about ¼ of the way from the beginning of the brow, and reach the tail.
Step 3 - Fill in between the lines. We like the start at the top using strokes to connect to the bottom line.
Step 4 - Add some fine hair-like strokes on the inner portion of the brow to avoid a boxy appearance.
Optional extras and helpful hints
• For an extra little pop, glow, and shine add our Glowing Goddess Mineral Highlighter to your brow bone.
• To help set your brows in place, you can add a small amount of lip balm or solid soap and brush through.
• The thickest portion of your natural brow should always be the thickest part of your filled-in brow. The eyebrow should then slowly taper off into a point.
• For a softer smoother transition, begin with a lighter shade on the inner corner of your brow, continue with this shade until you are about 1/3 of the way through, and then being to use a darker shade for the mid-tail of the brow.
