Although, you may notice a naturally minty scent from the Menthol.
Does your shampoo strip colour?
When researching shampoos, we learned a lot along the way. "Colour-lock" shampoos are simply SLS-free and pH-balanced to avoid stripping colour. Alkaline hair products open the hair cuticle, which can cause colour to fade and leave hair feeling overly “squeaky clean."
Our Milk Shampoo and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo are already SLS-free, Sulphate-free and slightly acidic, making it naturally colour-friendly - though we don’t think “colour-lock” is the best way to describe it. The same goes for "damaged hair" shampoos, which are often just lower in sulphates. We’ve had that covered from the start!
Will you ever bring out a shampoo bar?
We love the idea of using less plastic, but when it comes to shampoo bars, they just don’t align with our ingredient philosophy. Most natural shampoo bars are alkaline, which means they open up the hair cuticle and leave hair feeling squeaky clean, but not in a good way.
Over time, this can lead to dryness and colour fading, which isn’t exactly our cup of tea. So, while we’re all for eco-friendly choices, we’ll stick to making gentle, scalp-loving liquid shampoos that keep both your hair and the planet happy!
I have dry / oily hair. Do you have a conditioner for that?
Both of our conditioners are made for all hair types - it’s just about how you use it! If your hair tends to be oily, use a smaller amount and focus on the ends. If it’s on the dry side, apply a little more and let it soak in before rinsing.
No need for separate formulas made to suit dry or oily - just adjust to what your hair needs!
Is this product made of milk?
We aren’t called MooGoo because our products are made with milk. If you think about it, putting any meaningful amount of fresh milk into a hair care product and then putting it on a shelf in a store for a while would not end well – yuck! We do use ethically and sustainably sourced Milk Protein from a credible Australian supplier in our hair care products because research has found that it helps to protect hair fibres and revitalise hair's natural protective layer.
I can’t seem to get all of the product out of the bottle with the pump? Why is this happening?
When it comes to products with higher viscosity (thicker in nature), it can be harder for them to be dispensed through a pump system when the product is running low. This means that you might not be able to access every last drop with the pump provided.
To get your hands on the last bit of product in the bottle after it can no longer be pumped, simply turn the bottle upside down and allow the product to make its way to the top of the bottle with the help of gravity. Now when you unscrew the cap, the product will be there ready for you to use and enjoy as needed.
Another trick to getting the last bit of Conditioner out of the bottle is to add a small amount of water and shake together with the remaining product to make it a bit thinner so it can more easily be dispensed through the pump.

Have been using this shampoo and conditioner for over a month now and love that I have hardly any flakes on my work shirt or any dark clothing. My rashie, scabby scalp is much calmer and not so itchy. Feels great and smells even better! So glad I tried as have used so many dandruff sets but nothing worked.
