We did it! After years of trial and error, we are finally ready to present our first 100% plastic-free product to you. What took us so long? We wanted to create a formula that applied well and didn't cause irritation (so no Bi-Carb Soda in sight!). What about smelly armpits? Well, we use two different types of Magnesium that work in synergy to create an environment where odour-causing bacteria won't grow.

We also use our favourite skin-nourishers, Sweet Almond, Jojoba, Shea Butter, Olive Squalane, and Beeswax for a melt-with-body-warmth consistency. Simply push from the bottom of the tube upwards to reveal the deodorant stick and apply it directly to the underarms. Oh, and enjoy the satisfying ASMR-worthy POP of the lid as it slides off! (Did you need to fire up Google for ASMR? We did too, so no shame.)

My Deodorant Stick seems to be stuck? The first time you use your Deodorant Stick, it can be a little tricky to push up out of the tube. So the very first time it does require a bit more effort, but after this it should become easier to use.

To loosen, roll the tube back & forth on a flat surface, pressing firmly, then push up from the bottom of tube. On a very cold day you might need to hold the Deodorant to your skin for a moment to warm it slightly first!

I accidentally pushed my Deodorant Stick too far, what do I do? 1-2 Millimeters is all you need to expose, so if you accidentally pushed your Deodorant Stick up too far just gently place the lid over the top and push back down slowly.

Why did you change the size from 85g to 65g?

We listened to your feedback (thank you!) and found that the larger 85g size could sometimes be a bit tricky to push up, especially in cooler weather. It also caused more wear and tear on our plastic-free cardboard tubes. The new 65g size is just right - easier to use, less prone to stickiness and still packed with the same odour-busting goodness.

I’ve reacted to natural deodorants in the past, will this cause irritation?

We specifically formulated our Deodorant Sticks without the use of Bi-Carb Soda which commonly causes irritation. Instead, we use skin-loving oils, beeswax, and two forms of Magnesium to neutralise odour.

What’s the deal with switching to natural does?

We often hear from customers who start using our natural deodorant after a long history of antiperspirant use. After a few days, some of them get in touch concerned that our deodorant doesn’t work for them, but mostly they’re just not used to sweating at all and think it’s not working. Some of them even let us know that they became really smelly. While this sounds bad, it’s actually a good thing! It means that your sweat glands are starting to detoxify themselves after being clogged up for so many years. Hallelujah! We found that there is a transition period of about 2 weeks as the body adjusts to the glorious new freedom of natural deodorant.

We found that using our Gentle Exfoliating Micro Powder as an ‘armpit mask’ a couple of times a week helps with this detoxification. Simply mix water with the powder to form a paste, apply to underarms and wait 5 mins before hopping in the shower.

What’s the difference between stick and roll-on?

Our Stick Deodorants and Roll-On Deodorants are different in a few ways. Firstly, our Roll-On range is completely vegan (except for the Oats & Honey scent) whilst our Sticks do contain beeswax. Secondly, it’s all about texture! If you’re someone that sweats easily and is looking for something to take away that ‘wet’ feeling, then our Deodorant Sticks will be more enjoyable for you. The texture is thicker and feels more protective, despite both formulas working the same to neutralise odour. On the other hand, our roll-ons are great for people who don’t enjoy the thicker feeling of a stick and don’t find themselves struggling with the ‘wet’ feeling in day–to–day activities.

Is this product vegan?

Nope, our Stick Deodorants contain Beeswax which is not vegan. If you would prefer a natural & vegan alternative, we'd recommend our original Roll-On Deodorants which come in the same scents plus Sensitive (unfragranced).

Which ages are they suitable for?

Our Stick Deodorants are great for all ages, genders and skin types, and are also suitable as a first-time deodorant for teenagers!

Does this stain your clothes?

Because we use all-natural ingredients without penetration enhancers like phenoxyethanol, there is the possibility of transfer onto clothing. The best way to prevent this is to put tight-fitting clothing like singlets, sports bras, dresses etc on first and then apply the deodorant to the underarms. This way the clothing isn’t having to pass over the product during dressing – and we all know putting on a sports bra without serious gymnastics is no easy feat!

How do I make the packaging last?

Our Stick Deodorant tubes are made with high-quality, durable cardboard; however, we recommend being gentle when closing your tube after each use to preserve it over time. Carefully fit the lid back over the top of your deodorant and gently press down to slide it down to the bottom. Keep your stick deodorant out of wet, hot, and other harsh conditions and keep out of direct sunlight.

How do I recycle the tube?

Once you have finished your Stick Deodorant do not crush or minimise the tube! Simply place it in your recycling bin as is. The entire packaging is 100% recyclable and keeping it in its original size makes it easier to be sorted.
