Protein Shot Leave-In Conditioner 25g

After a ton of requests from the Herd (you lovely lot), we whipped up a natural leave-in conditioner to pair perfectly with our Shampoos and Conditioners. Think of it as a drink for dry or damaged ends, especially great after washing, between washes or when you need a slicked back bun. Curly girl and frizzy hair approved, plus made for the whole family.

How do I use these in a routine?

1. Wet hair, massage 1-3 pumps of Shampoo into the scalp and rinse thoroughly. For a deeper cleanse, shampoo twice.
2. After shampooing, squeeze out excess water and work the conditioner through the lengths of your hair. Leave on for 1-3 minutes before rinsing well.
3. After washing (or any time you need a boost), apply a small amount of the Protein Shot to damp or dry hair, focusing on mid-lengths to ends. Leave it in, style as usual and you’re good to go. No rinse needed.

**Is the Protein Shot suitable for curly or wavy hair?

Absolutely! Our curly-haired customers are some of Protein Shot’s biggest fans! It helps define curls, tame frizz and add moisture without making your hair crunchy or sticky. Perfect for keeping curls bouncy and hydrated.

Are these products Silicone-free?

Yep, no Silicones here! Instead, we use Glycerin and natural oils like Jojoba and Olive Oil, that actually absorb into the hair to hydrate and nourish, rather than just coat it.

Is this product made of milk?

Nope, no fresh milk here! While the name’s inspired by our first product (which was a cream made for cow udders – really!), we don’t pour milk into bottles. What we do use is Milk Protein from a credible Aussie supplier. It’s been shown to help protect and condition hair, giving it strength and bounce without weighing it down. So your hair gets the benefits of milk, without going off on the shelf.

'Fragrance' is listed as one of the ingredients in this product. What does this mean?

Fair question, especially if you have sensitive skin. We used to use essential oils for fragrance, but even small amounts can cause big reactions for some. So we created a special kind of fragrant oil, where every component below the EU allergy threshold. That means no nasties, no phthalates and no more itchy scalps from a whiff of shampoo. Just a fresh scent that’s safe for sensitive skin.

I noticed the shampoo and conditioner bottle has changed to a squeezy tube. Why is that?

Does your shampoo strip colour?

Short answer: Nope!

Long answer: Our Milk Shampoo is SLS-free, Sulphate-free and pH-balanced, meaning it’s not alkaline (which is what can open up your hair cuticle and wash colour down the drain). While we don’t slap a “colour-lock” label on it, the formula naturally helps keep your hair colour where it belongs, in your hair, not your shower.
