Allantoin helps the repair of minor cuts and we’ve also included some Mandarin Orange Peel Oil as it works to encourage repair and keep your lips in a healthy state...and it just tastes nice.

What ingredients do you avoid when making a lip balm?
There's lots of things you won't find in these lip balms (or any of our other products) because they were all formulated for family members and close friends. This includes Paraffin and Mineral Oil which derive from petroleum, but are commonly found in most commercial lip products. We don’t think putting the stuff that goes into our cars on our lips is the healthiest thing we can do, especially when everything on the lips eventually gets eaten.
We also don’t use any synthetic preservatives such as Parabens and Phenoxyethanol, although they're pretty common too, including with a few brands that claim to be natural (you know who you are!). We avoid a lot of other things too, way too many to list here.

Cocoa Seed Butter
A natural butter that is extracted from the seeds of the cocoa plant. It is rich in fatty acids and is known for its moisturising and skin-softening effects.
Apricot Kernel Oil
A natural oil that is extracted from the kernels of apricots. It is rich in vitamins and fatty acids, and is known for its moisturising and nourishing effects.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet Almond Oil is extracted from almond kernels and is nourishing to irritated and dry skin. It’s high in minerals and vitamins, and the types of fatty acids needed to help repair troubled skin.
Jojoba Seed Oil
Jojoba Oil is extracted from jojoba seeds and is one of our all-time favourite oils to use. While it is actually a liquid wax, it is non-comedogenic (it does not clog the pores), extremely moisturising, light and sinks into the skin easily.
Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E)
We choose only to use naturally sourced Vitamin E instead of a synthetic one. Although it is more expensive, it has twice the bioavailability of synthetic forms which we think is worth the extra cost.

In the past any lipbalms I've used have made me feel really nauseaus. Lets face it, whatever goes on your lips ends up in your mouth and body, so all those nasty chemicals in so many products affect your overall health and wellbeing.
But when I switched to the natural Moogoo products like this lipbalm I could tell the difference straight away. No more feeling sick. I can use this as much as I need to without any side-effects, plus it feels great on the lips.

I've replaced my vasaline with this edible lip balm and it has been a game changer. Lasts hours and keeps my lips perfectly moisturised and nourished. There's no funky or unpleasant taste when sipping water or tea, and even if some does end up down the gullet, it's waaaay healthier than vaseline. Has a lovely smell too. I have used this since 2015 when I was first introduced to MooGoo. No I won’t let any other lip Balm touch my lips!! The Tingling Honey Lip Balm is my go to for winter as it has a more moisturising effect during the cold winter months, and I need the extra protection.
